Rate/Rank: YN2 Years Served: 1976-1979 Check-in Date: 08/29/2021 Joey Boat was last active-duty station in Navy. Ended up spending 15 more years in the Army!

“Updating, since most of my information has changed. Left the Hewes in June 1979 with EN2 Johnson and EN1 Bryd? while in Greece. Had some good times and met some great people while on board Joey boat. Went to work at the CNSY as a marine pipefitter. Joined the Navy reserves as a HT2 and later transferred to the Coast Guard as a DC2. Retired as DCCS in 2007. Shipyard closed in 1993, transferred to King Bays Naval Sub Base and finally retired from civil service in 2012.”
